Conduct of Preliminary Investigations (PIs) 24 sites, Groundwater Monitoring Events (GMEs) 18 sites, Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) 3 sites, Well Abandonments 5 sites, Validation Assessment 1 site.
Design of Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) System: June 2005-July 2005
Client: Shell Pakistan Limited
The SVE system was designed to reduce volatile organic hydrocarbons (VOCs) in the soil strata to below screening levels determined for the site lithology. A ninety-day campaign period was used as basis and design parameters selected so that locally available materials can be used.
Phase Separated Hydrocarbon (PSH) recovery: July 2005-December 2006
Client: Shell Pakistan Limited
Shell Pakistan Limited contracted with TPL for the recovery of PSH via manual baling over an 18 month period. Current work scope is being managed by TPL at five sites.
Wastewater Treatment Facility: July 2005-December 2005
Client: Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT)
QICT contracted with TPL to carry out needs assessment of its requirements and develop specifications and tender documents for a wastewater treatment facility to meet the National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS). TPL will also supervise the project implementation.
Network Environmental Risk Assessment Data Review and Upload:July 2005-December 2005

The various regional Shell companies contracted with TPL to review their past and current network environment risk assessment survey data on retail sites and upload them after due modifications into the web based data base of their proprietary assessment software.
Web Based Surveillance Camera Supply and Installation: July 2005 - August 2005
Client: Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH)
AKUH contracted with TPL for the supply and installation of a surveillance camera to monitor access to the Presidents Office from multiple local and remote locations. TPL sourced, procured and installed the device to meet the requirement.
Operation and Monitoring of Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) System: February 2006 – October 2006
Client: Shell Pakistan Limited
The SVE system designed and partly installed by TPL was commissioned and put into operation by TPL who are also charged with the day-to-day operation, monitoring and testing of the system.
Network Environmental Risk Assessment II: Field Survey and Data Entry for 1100 retail sites March 2006-August 2006
Clients: IT Environmental (Australia) Pty Ltd for Shell Pakistan Ltd sites
TPL conducted a survey of around 1100 petrol pumps, commercial sites and surroundings located all over Pakistan collecting extensive site and surrounding data required for the NERA II questionnaire in only a two month time frame. Field collected, Shell provided and available historical records were compared to QC and select best data. Additional details such as water quality measurements for above and below ground water resources using portable TDS meters; photographic records of sites, etc., were also collected. Deliverables included a spreadsheet with all collected data formatted as per Shell NERA II software.
Provision of Health, Safety and Environment Monitoring and Training:April 2006 – March 2007
Client: Johnson & Johnson Pakistan Limited
Johnson & Johnson Pakistan (Pvt) Limited have asked TPL to assist them in the development of their HSE standard operating procedures, document them, carry out training of the staff and monitor the process in line with their ISO 14000 and other certifications requirements. The industrial hygiene and safety procedures were given preference.

Conduct of survey and sample collection as per advised protocol for soil and groundwater at three sites that warehoused crop protection chemicals in the past.
Monitoring of Operator and Vehicle Fitness: December 2006
Client: Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT)
Conduct of a continuous 48 hour survey to monitor fitness of Trailers on the terminal in accordance with checklist and of the bona fides of the vehicle operators as per given specifications.
Tank Testing at Consumer Facilities: December 2006 – June 2007

Conduct of Tank Integrity Testing at 90 underground fuel tanks (gasoline, kerosene, diesel) at 60 Consumer facilities all over Pakistan using EPA approved and certified magnetostrictive probes for wet portion and acoustic method for ullage part.

Carried out conduct of Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for 9 Consumer Facility Sites and 39 Retail outlets and 3 Aviation sites till date, and completed Preliminary Investigations (PI) at 26 Retail sites and 1 Lubricating Oil plant. 2 retail sites also involved Tank Pull monitoring and disposal of more than 25 tons of impacted soil. TPL also carried out Soil Remediaton ,Validation and Disposal works at Heavy Mechanical Complex and dispose 192 tons of impacted soil.
